Ease of inflation this pad is thick and takes a lot of air to inflate about 25 30 breaths. The q core slx ups the ante on quilted comfort in the backcountry. This pad is insulated with primaloft silver and contains a mylar reflective layer but our testers felt it wasn t very warm and the manufacturer doesn t state an r value. Warm big agnes doesn t list r values but they rate the slx down to 32 f 0 c which we think is about right.
